Leana Newton

Trustee and Co-Chair

 

Leana is an Assistant Relationship Manager for a Business Bank.  She has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in financial analysis and fund management, and lives in the Basford area of Nottingham. Leana was appointed to the Board in January 2013.

Christina Saccoh

Trustee and Co-Chair

 

Christina, a former resident of the area, is a qualified secondary school teacher and founder and Director of her own Alternative Education Provision based in Nottingham City, specialising in the education of pupils with behavioural difficulties and suffering disadvantage.  Christina also works as an educational consultant in St Anns and Sneinton area engaging hard to reach young people and their families.  Christina has wide knowledge of Nottingham City communities having worked in a number of City schools over her career.  Christina was appointed to the Board on 4th February 2016.

Garry Bryant

Trustee & Co-Vice Chair

 

Garry is a retired senior civil servant. He has a wealth of experience in such areas as educational improvement and neighbourhood development. He is a member of the Rotary Club of West Bridgford. Garry was appointed to the Board in March 2011.

Donna Griffiths

Trustee & Co-Vice Chair

 

Donna is a local primary school teacher and former resident of the Arborteum area of Nottingham.  Donna works with local community groups and is dedicated to helping to improve the quality of lives of local people.  Donna was appointed to the Board in July 2014.

Craig Elder

Trustee

 

Craig is a partner in the law firm, Browne Jacobson LLP. A qualified solicitor, Craig has a wealth of experience in the field of strategic contracts and how they affect local communities. Craig was appointed to the Board in October 2011.

Cllr Toby Neal

Trustee

 

Toby is a self employed businessman and is actively involved in a number of voluntary sector groups and public bodies, including being a Council Member of Nottingham City Council. He lives in the Berridge area of Nottingham. Toby was appointed to the Board in April 2013.

Mark Spouge

Trustee

 

Mark is a Divisional Asset Manager for Riverside Group responsible for a large team delivering an effective repairs and maintenance service throughout south and central England. He has worked in the social housing sector for 12 years and is dedicated to supporting people and communities to reach their potential. He worked in Radford and Lenton for several years and understands the positive impact that learning skills development has for local people and the wider community. Mark was appointed to the Board on 4th February 2016.

 

Harry Moriarty

Trustee

 

Harry is a Research Project Manager at the University of Nottingham with experience of organisational governance, communications and marketing. Harry also has several years history of voluntary work in schools.  Harry was appointed to the Board on 4th February 2016.

 

Andy Durkin

Trustee

 

Andy’s earlier career began in the automotive industry where he worked predominately on Classic Cars before moving on into Automotive Suspension Design.  Andy then moved into HR and Equalities and developed his passion for supporting people to achieve their personal goals and aspirations. Andy ran NE Derbyshire District Council’s 'Breakthrough to Work' training programme, specifically designed to support Disabled People in acquiring and honing their employability skills. Andy is currently a full-time carer supporting a young man who experiences Autism and a Learning Disability. Andy was appointed to the Board on 13th April 2017.

Shoaib Khan

Trustee

 

Shoaib is a project manager with a variety of experience in the voluntary and public sector, delivering development projects and business transformation. Born and raised in Nottingham, Shoaib is currently working at Leicester City Council where he is remodelling the way property services are delivered for the authority. Shoaib is an Associate Member of The Chartered Institute for IT and the Association for Project Management. Shoaib was appointed to the Board on 13th April 2017.
